DIBP is a nearly colourless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a near unnoticeable odour. It is soluble in usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticisers commonly used in PVC. DIBP is almost insoluble in water.
DiIsoButyl phthalate (DIBP) has very similar application properties to Di-n-butylphtahalat(D.B.P) it may use as substitute but not in all application.

دی ایزو بوتیل فتالات((D.I.B.P ماده ی بیرنگ و بی بویی است که قابل حل در حلال های الی است.این ماده قابل حل و همساز با تمام پلاستی سایزر های مونومری است. که به طور معمول در پلاستیسایزرهای p.v.c استفاده میشود.
