DEHP, a.k.a. DOP is the commercial name for the organic compound di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). D.O.P is the most common member of the class of phthalates which are used as plasticizers. It is the diester of phthalic acid and the branched-chain 2-ethylhexanol. This colorless viscous liquid is soluble in oil, but not in water.

این ماده عضو رایج‌ترین طبقه از فتالات هاست که به عنوان پلاستی‌سایزرها به کار می‌روند. این ماده دی-استر فتالیک اسید با شاخه‌های دو-اتیل‌هگزانول است. این مایع چسبناک و بی‌رنگ حلال در روغن و نه در اب است.
